The collective presented the Biograma project within the Zaragoza Photo Festival.

Two activities were done: Biograma Session lecture, explaining in detail the project and the attendees were invited to participate and Biograma Experience, a workshop to put into practice the basics of the project. This workshop had as a result Biograma Experience Envelop which includes the proposed short story and photos of the participants.

The workshop was very productive, as well as talking about editing a photographic group, they could see the participants´ different creative processes about the interpretation of the text and, above all, to share impressions.

01.08.10 Biograma project presented in Zaragoza Photo Festival

Biograma is an art project, open and participative, created by Collective Entretantos. It is based on the construction of a collective work consisting of multiple literary and photographic visions that lead to a visual narrative-centered on the existence of a fictional character.

Biograma is done on a collective and multidisciplinary anonymously built between all participants and is disclosed by editing the various chapters.

For the dissemination and revitalization of Biograma, Entretantos Collective’s members perform a series of parallel and complementary activities: Biograma Session & Biograma Experience.

Wednesday, September 8th, from 16.00 to 18.30

Conference dedicated to explain all the details of the project and the concepts that underlie: how it arises, creative positioning, purpose, media, graphic and literary material, support and dissemination etc.

Biograma Experience
Thursday, September 9th, from 16.00 to 18.30

A dynamic activity that proposes to carry out a photographic exercise contextualized and further editing in order to investigate the photo positioning itself. Individuals wishing to participate must register in advance.

04.08.09 From the heigths project

entretantos in coproduction with Arte Sociedad Association of Pamplona (Colombia) carried out together From the heigths project giving both a documentary and a photo exhibition as a result.

The exhibition falls on a universal reality about the existence of a socioeconomic centrifugal power which constrains populations into displacements. In this case, the displacement goes toward hills and old bridlepaths and stamps its hardnesss in those people´s lifes. The purpose of the work is to show how geopraphy sets hard conditions to the daily life, and how people do not just resign themselves to such conditions but face them instead, in order to improve their day-to-day life.

The documentary was showed at Jauregui Teathre and at some places in different neighbourhoods all arround the city of Pamplona. Furthermore, it was showed in parallel both at Anzoategui Museum of Pamplona and at The Public Library of Cúcuta The center of the distance photo exhibition by Alejandro Acín.

The University of Pamplona, The Anzoategui Museum and The Book Fair of Cucuta colaborated in both production and exhibition of the project.

entretantos in collaboration with The Center of Freudian Studies of Granada and The School of Art of Granada organized The scopic field: notes toward a picture conference, which was in charge of Bernard Levy.

Expressing the relationship between two mutually exclusive concepts, sight and look, implies a division, a rupture at the image level. Throughout the relationships between sight and look, as well as the economy that governs them, were established the parameters of the scopic field.

The conference, which took place at The School of Art auditorium, fostered closer ties between different disciplines such as psicology, philosophy and photography.

30.11.08 International Festival of University Theatre in Granada

Previous Demonstrations of University Theatre have made possible to celebrate now an International Festival of University Theatre. And this is great news. Berlin, La Puebla Mexicana, El Cairo,… and of course, Granada. Classical plays revised by the modern, sceptic and transformer eye. A daring and suggesting stage.

For our part, there are three complementary photographic visions, as a sign of an intense week of sensations. Expression, light, color, stage design, interpretation… All of them, elements from the dramatic art, and at the same time, essential elements in the photographic sensor, in body and soul.

A symbiotic relation theatre-photography, necessary for the artistic flavour to stay in our palate as long as possible, not as a truth, but as a true experience of a fiction that once seemed real.

25.11.08 Off Festival Jazz Granada

entretantos covered the Off Festival de Jazz in Granada. Different concerts were photographed from the varied places in the Off Festival. Rooms like the Boogaclub, Alexis Viernes, Organ Jazz, Zaidin Civic Centre, as outside.

This project was proposed in order to provide the musical report with a different view, leaving aside the fugacity belonging to a press reporter’s work. A more sensitive relationship was carried out, of enjoyment and submission to the impulses emerging from the own concert.

01.06.07 Exhibition The pure look

entretantos, in colaboration with different public and private university institutions, produced in Cyprus The pure look photo exhibition. This project was carried out along the spring of 2007 in Granada (Spain) by the photographer Mikel Ibarrola.

Both the texts in The pure look (invitation to the spectator) and in History of the portraits were written by the Almerian poet Francisco de Asís Hernandez Salmerón.

In parallel with the exhibitions display, some conferences were organized where both authors shared their experiences with the audience.
